Sacramento gluten-free specialty market finds his niche despite recession

SACRAMENTO, CA - Michelle Weir says she knew, you took a big risk when you and your business partners the Gluten-Free Specialty Market opened in July 2008.
Weir admits it was probably not the best time to open such a deal, but you said you felt, it was necessary.
She opened the market in products for people with special diets, specialized because for years that said, it was hard for you to eat your food to find.
"I have dietary problems with gluten and I wanted to eat." So I thought to open the store ", she said.
Weir opened the Midtown market with only 90 products.Now, it takes between 4,000 and 4,500 products at any given time.Weir said it wants to expand the memory of one other 600 square meter.
Jim ONeal with small business administration, said the impact is the recession still be felt.
"There are a number of factors before we can feel as if the recession is over.""O'Neal said.""Business are still fight because customers of to discretionary funds keep on."
O'Neal said, if you think about starting a business, now is the time, but you have, your homework.
